Black Sun ambushed again, Krath victorious.

Date: Year 10 Day 50 Onboard the Acclamator Assault Ship Wolverstone at galactic position (-39, -447) on Year 10 Day 49 16:23. Word has reached the Galactic News Service that the Krath have confirmed a successful interception on a Black Sun military convoy, resulting in the capture of several high ranking members of the crime syndicate, ship crews, and seizure of destructive devices.
The raid by Krath took place somewhere along the Rimma Trade Route. Taken by surprise, and overwhelmed by superior numbers, the crime syndicate's warships were quickly caught in the trap. Several Krath warships and assault vessels rapidly surrounded the Black Sun ships, and these were quickly disabled by the superior firepower of the atacking vessels. After this short skirmish, the Black Sun ships were disabled and boarded by elite elements of the Krath Marines. Many of the ship's crews were captured, while a handful were killed during the battle.
Rumors suggest the raid was a counter measure for a large operation of the crime syndicate aimed towards Krath sectors. It was believed by Krath intelligence that the military convoy was in fact on its way to their borders. Quick work from Krath operatives and military officers show their determination to halt any and all criminal activities throughout the Krath territory, and any such activities discovered will be scoured from existance.
Among the captured Black Sun officials are the Dark Jedi Mott Skyblade and officer Saitam Orelav. Both are known to have had a role during the Black Sun occupation of the New Republic. The third big shot, Zhar Imanem Koth, is overseer of Black Sun's operations in the southern region of the galaxy, thus would be responsible for activities in Krath controlled territory. This is a severe punch to Black Sun and should decimate the crime lords activities in this area of the galaxy for the near future. The Krath Dynasty has also confirmed that another Black Sun agent, who tried to infiltrate the group, had already turned tail, fleeing the wrath of Krath. Question of the day: Is Black Sun going to collapse?
When faced by reporters in Shesharile this morning, Krath leader Frezt Raleigh, had this to say: "I am extremely proud of our people today. Our intelligence agents and Marines should be commended. We are actively working towards making our territory a safer place, and today have removed another thorn. We'll continue this path to further stabilize the southern regions, making it a safer place for our citizens and all sentient beings." |

In a recent press conference, a new national currency was announced within Krath territory: the Kathol sector, the Minos cluster and a large portion of the Churba sector.
Trade in these sectors will largely shift from using the imperial credits and republican dataries currently used all around the galaxy, to the new Nova Crystal (NC). Many major planets along the triton trade route, such as Brolsam, Cathar, Uukaablis and Pergitor, have already taken the nova crystals in use and have experienced a high demand for the crystals.
Nova Crystals have always been a valuable commodity. Only found on a handful of planets, these bright green crystals are often crafted in gemstones for jewelery and decoration. The bank of Kathol has one of the largest nova crystal reserves publicly known, having harvested many crystals from Binaros and Gandle Ott.
Since the appointment of Waffel Burret as director of the Dynasty Bank, he announced a series of serious reformations for the Dynasty monetary system and policy. So the new currency comes as no surprise to economic analysts, who have been watching recently and have seen the economy grow to new heights. Every Krath citizen has also felt it in their pocket, as salaries and purchasing power have been rising steadily.
The official exchange rate released by the Dynasty Bank was set at  1 Nova Crystal to  50,000 credits, and is fully backed by the Krath Dynasty at all times.
The InterGalactic Banking Clan, who encompasses many banks throughout the galaxy, have already accepted the new currency, and the IGBC's banks will be ready to exchange the crystals. The IGBC has set up a new exchange system and a number of new exchange posts throughout Krath territory, but the crystals will also be available through all the established channels. |

Mysterious Grass Type discovered at Shesharile V |
The people of Shesharile V discovered a somewhat mysterious grass type fauna growing on their planet last week. It has been ages since any growth by the fauna has been seen, but there is no doubt that the short 'death planet' seems to have come back to life!
Prospectors and geologists are working on a reason why this is possible and still wondering how this planet that is so hot and toxic can be the rebirth of the plant, especially when even the inhabitants find it a very hard planet to survive on. Although the people of Shesharile V are unsure why the grass has started to grow again there is no doubt it has, even now it spreads quickly over the dusty world where up to a week past only sand storms had ruled, the planet is not so slowly being covered with this blue-purple colored grass.
There are many rumors flying about that the goddess Krath has caused this spontaneous growth to show the Imperials that She is the one true ruler of the Shesharile planets. Since the rebirth of the fauna pilgrims have started to make regular excursion to the 'grass valley' where the unusual expansion was first sighted.
Since the pilgrims first started to arrive it has been estimated that three and a half million citizen loyal to the teachings of Krath have already made the journey to witness the 'Grass valley' and the miracle of it with their own eyes, as they depart the area to make the dangerous journey back to the meager life that can get from the harsh environment there is no doubt that the worship of Krath in all her majesty is at an all time high.
Some outsiders have proposed another possibility to the grass growing suddenly is that a large amount of grass seed was transported in by an unknown group of smugglers, of course this is being dismissed because the seed would have to be in such a great amount and have to be drop down on over half the planet to equal the occurrence that is taking place on Shesharile V. If that was the case even a blind man would have seen the amount of ships flying over their planet to seed it in such a way properly.
Amazingly, even though the scientist haven't discovered the source of the once natives fauna’s sudden growth, they have discovered that the grass has a very high nutritional value and will most likely be added to the natives diet to enhance their lives.
